My sister Erin put some pictures on my blog of Joel. (to the right;she also wrote the caption underneath which made me laugh!) I haven't written anything on here about him because he get's so embarressed. But he seems to be doing well in his new job; he was hired as the Compliance Director in the ISU athletic department. This has been such a nice change because he no longer has to work nights and weekends and he really loves college athletics. He has started school again and seems to enjoy it. Anway, there are a lot of things I love about Joel and I'm grateful he picked me to be his wifey!

We are so proud of Joel and all that he has accomplished! He is a great son-in-law and if you could read the Mothers' Day or Birthday Cards he picks out for me, you would even be more amazed! They are so beautiful they bring tears to my yes! I don't even care if they aren't true-I love them! They are poetry in motion! (Family quote!) We love him and are glad he likes us! (We Hope!)

Adam said that maybe we could come for Christmas so I am trying to think of cool places I could take pictures of the family and the grand kids, if you know of any let me know! It's been awhile since I've seen you. We have been pretty sick over here, so I haven't stopped by or been over to Maria's for a while. Anyway, I love your post on Joel. You two are so cute! We are so lucky to have you guys as friends! We will have to go out on a date sometimes...not me and you, but us with our hubbys!:) And not kids...yipee!
